Hillary Clinton votes against flag burning amendment.

Tuesday, June 27th, 2006

The proposed Amendment to the Constitution S.J.Res.12 as Amended failed by 1 vote.

The U.S. Senate rejected a proposed constitutional amendment to empower Congress to outlaw flag burning, falling one vote short of the two-thirds majority required to send the measure to the states for ratification.

The vote was 66-34 in favor of the amendment. Sixty-seven votes are required to approve a constitutional amendment.

Guess who could have turned the balance in favor of protecting the flag? That’s right, Hillary Clinton. But she didn’t. She voted NO! Even Sen. Harry Reid voted in favor of it. See the results for yourself.

U.S. Senate Roll Call Votes 109th Congress - 2nd Session

Hillary Clinton has no balls.

Friday, June 23rd, 2006

Yeah, that’s right, we said it. How could anybody think that this woman could be President of the United States? She couldn’t lead a sing-a-long, let alone the most powerful nation on earth. Why? Because she has no principles, no backbone, she believes in nothing. Well, she believes in advancing her own political opportunities, that’s for sure. Take the recent Democratic brouhaha over pulling troops out of Iraq. Here’s her position:

“I simply do not believe it is a strategy or a solution for the President to continue declaring an open ended and unconditional commitement,” Clinton said. “Nor do I believe it is a solution or a strategy to set a date for withdrawal without regard to the consequences.”

What kind of middle of the road, fence walking position is that? That’s kind of like John Kerry’s famous “I actually voted for it before I voted against it”. In other words, it’s a non position. It it politics instead of principle. She’s been at it for months. Back in December she sent a now infamous e-mail that “outlined” her non position to her supporters in the hope of stemming the protests against her from the Liberals inside her own party. In the e-mail, Hillary took responsibility for authorizing President Bush to go to war, but then followed with an iffy allusion as to whether she would have opposed it, now that hindsight is 20-20.
This is what this woman is all about. Stand for nothing, yet pretend to be for everything. She learned it from her husband, and she has been practicing it for the past 6 years at the expense of the people of New York State. And now she wants a chance to do the same to the rest of the country. Never. No Way. Not here. Not now. Just say NO!

Back on Hillary’s trail.

We took a little time to have some fun in the sun. Now we’re back. Here’s some things that happened while we were away.

From KT McFarland’s campaign via e-mail to us we received the following:

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Kathleen Troia “KT” McFarland, a top official in the Reagan Pentagon, today called on Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton to clarify her position on the Iraq War.
At the conference, Mrs. Clinton, according to a news report, said:

“I do not think it is a smart strategy…for the president to continue with his open-ended commitment, which I think does not put enough pressure on the new Iraqi government. Nor do I think it is smart strategy to set a date certain.”

“Mrs. Clinton’s statement today is a classic illustration of someone trying to straddle two distinct positions,” Ms. McFarland. “Her statement is highly ambiguous and reflects a clear lack of knowledge about military matters. America must not set a time limit for withdrawal from Iraq. Doing so would be terrible military strategy. Mrs. Clinton might want to explain to New Yorkers just exactly where she stands on this important issue.”

You can go to KT McFarland’s campaign site to read more if you like.

And then there’s this gem of a headline:

New Poll: Americans Say Sen. Hillary Clinton Frightens Them

You can see the results here, but basically the poll says that Hillary scares the shit out of everybody; republicans, democrats, and independents. Really? Seems we’ve been saying that all along. Don’t let anyone say we didn’t warn you. :)

Hillary vs Rudy: Now that would be fun to watch!

Friday, June 9th, 2006

We were all denied Hillary vs Rudy round 1 when Rudy dropped out of the NY Senate race to battle prostate cancer. But could we be so lucky as to have round 2 take place in the national ring? One can only hope…

Hillary, Giuliani Top Gallup Poll

Two New Yorkers came out on top of a new poll in which participants were asked to name their top candidates for U.S. president in 2008.

According to the Washington Times, Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, a Republican, led all others in the open-ended Gallup poll…

Hillary Clinton vs Ann Coulter

Pop the popcorn, and pull up a comfy chair boys and girls. This is going to be GREAT!

Hillary Lashes Out at Ann Coulter

New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton lashed out at Ann Coulter for a “vicious, mean-spirited attack” on a group of outspoken 9/11 widows, whom the right-wing television pundit described as “self-obsessed” and enjoying their husbands’ deaths.

Coulter writes in a new book, “Godless: The Church of Liberalism,” that a group of New Jersey widows whose husbands perished in the World Trade Center act “as if the terrorist attacks happened only to them.”…

Hillary voted to slash New York terror funds!

Tuesday, June 6th, 2006

Before she voted against it in the media of course. Oh, the hypocrisy. We do believe that if Hillary had 8 sides to her mouth, she could talk out of all of them simultaneously, all the while saying something different.

Hillary Clinton, Charles Schumer Voted to Slash NYC Terror Funds

Senators Hillary Clinton and Charles Schumer have been complaining for a week now about an $80 million cutback in New York City’s anti-terrorism funding by the Department of Homeland Security.

But it turns out that they both voted to make substantial cuts in the city’s terrorism funding last year.

According to Newsday, the Democratic duo backed a $95 million cut last December in funding from the Centers for Disease Control for bioterrorism programs around the nation. Of that amount, approximately $3 million would have gone directly to New York City.
