The Ghost of Christmas Past?

Wednesday, November 30th, 2005

Or is Hillary just revisiting the spirit of Tipper Gore?

Backed by gruesome shots of computerised cannibalism, police beatings and violence, campaigners warned parents that their children were increasingly at risk from “sadistic” video games.

Senator Hillary Clinton and former vice presidential nominee Joseph Lieberman meanwhile launched new legislation intended to protect kids from graphic, violent and sexual material on their game consoles.

Ex-Green Party Member to Challenge Hillary

Monday, November 28th, 2005

Boy, isn’t this interesting? We might actually have to throw our support behing a “Green Party” candidate in the hopes of derailing Hillary a bit. Not that this guy really stands a chance against the mighty Clinton machine, but let’s see what he’s got to offer.

By MARC HUMBERT Associated Press Writer

ALBANY, N.Y. Nov 27, 2005 — A former Green Party member who advocates an immediate withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq says he will challenge incumbent Hillary Rodham Clinton for the 2006 Democratic nomination for Senate.

“She’s in favor of the war and in favor of continuing the occupation,” Steven Greenfield, a professional saxophone player, told The Associated Press in a telephone interview from his New Paltz home.

A senior adviser to Clinton, Howard Wolfson, declined to comment on Greenfield’s declaration.

Hillary’s people not commenting? Now’s there’s a new one. Why should they ever comment on anything, when she refuses to? When was the last time that Hillary sat down for a real interview and allowed someone to ask unscripted questions? How about NEVER!

Hillary’s poll numbers slipping

Saturday, November 26th, 2005

Thanks to our loyal reader Scarletta for this one from NewsMax

Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential poll numbers continue to slip with the Democratic Party’s left wing base - according to the latest online survey conducted by the Daily Kos web site.
The former first lady has now slid to fifth place among likely candidates, with Virginia Gov. Mark Warner leapfrogging past her into third place. She now ranks just above the Koz category “No Freakin’ Clue” among top Democrats who are expected to run.
In more bad news for Mrs. Clinton, her meager 6 percent support continues a downward trend that began over the summer, when she had 10 percent backing her candidacy.

PIRRO FUNDRAISING LETTER SAYS SHE CAN STOP HILLARY IN ‘08

Tuesday, November 22nd, 2005

We got this from our friends over at JustHillary.com They picked it up from NY Newsday. It’s really quite interesting. At least Jeanine Pirro is finally getting some press abpout her struggling US Senate campaign.

Republican Jeanine Pirro is offering potential donors a simple equation in her bid to unseat Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton: “No second term in the Senate = No White House in 2008.”

“We simply cannot let Hillary stay in the Senate where she is voting against President Bush and organizing her national political base. The math is simple,” the Westchester County district attorney wrote in her fundraising letter, a copy of which was obtained Monday by The Associated Press.

Ahhhh, those tolerant Libs.

Seems Hillary is a little squeamish about exactly who her daughter Chelsea has been hanging around. According to Radar Online Chelsea has been hanging out with trashy Tara Reid, and they’ve become a wee bit too friendly. Mommy wants it to stop, lest it damage her political career. We suspect that Tara obviously did not donate enough money to Hillary’s campaign, and that is really why she is persona non grata around baby Bubba. Everbody knows that the Clinton’s never met a political contribution they didn’t like.

Chelsea In Taradise

Is Tara Reid the latest thong-flasher to threaten the Clinton political machine? We hear Sen. Hillary Clinton has been in crisis mode ever since she learned her daughter, Chelsea, has been spending time with the nip-slipping party girl…
“I think someone e-mailed a picture of Chelsea and Tara together in Vegas to Hillary,” a Capitol Hill staffer tells us. “All I know is I hear Hillary went nuts. She’s getting ready to run for President and her daughter is hanging out with Hollywood’s biggest mess.”

Now insiders say Chelsea, who works by day as a consultant at white-shoe firm McKinsey & Company, has strict orders not be seen in public with Reid…

Oops, we missed another one.

Thanks to Scarletta for pointing this beauty out to us.

“New York Senate hopeful Jeanine Pirro is blasting 2008 presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton for throwing a birthday party tonight for Ku Klux Klansman-turned-Senator Robert Byrd at the home of a civil rights pioneer.
“It’s outrageous and shocking that Senator Clinton and her Democrat colleagues would choose Frederick Douglass’ house to honor Senator Robert Byrd, who has a history of involvement with hate groups and has used racial slurs publicly,” Pirro spokeswoman Andrea Tantaros told the Associated Press…………..”

How did we miss this one?

Thursday, November 17th, 2005

Okay, we missed a doozy. Somehow this slipped by us undetected. But it’s a good one.
NY Newsday, one of New York’s most liberal newspapers ran a colum by Raymond J. Keating analyzing whether or not Hillary is in fact a centrist. You know our stance here at Just Say No To Hillary Clinton, but take a read for yourself:

Is Hillary a centrist? Let’s look at her votes

President Bill Clinton was elected in 1992, and I’m still trying to figure out exactly what a “New Democrat” is. Specifically, was the phrase anything more than a cynical Clintonian effort to make liberal Democrats appear more moderate?

Looking ahead, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), who must be considered the early Democratic front-runner for the White House in 2008, seems to be adopting a similar strategy. Over the past year, much has been made in various media accounts of Clinton’s leaving her liberalism behind in favor of the center….

One key vote and some occasional centrist talk do not make a moderate. Just as Bill Clinton the New Democrat was more about political posturing than policy reality, Hillary Clinton’s move to the center lacks credibility. It is simply Clintonian.

Hill and Bill at it again!

Thursday, November 17th, 2005

The hypocritical Clinton twins are at it again. Trying to sway with the polls as they try to re-write their own personal histories. In Hillary’s case, it’s more of a ploy to appeal to the far left since New York’s Village Voice ran a story titled Cindy Sheehan for President. Now, dear sweet, oh so moderate, church going, flag waiving Hillary is swinging back to the Left.
We picked this tasy item from our friends at NewsMax

Mrs. Clinton reversed herself on whether the U.S. should announce a timetable for a U.S. pullout, voting for an amendment proposed by Iraq war opponent, Sen. Russ Feingold…
Asked in February, however, whether she supported a timetable for withdrawal, Mrs. Clinton told NBC’s “Meet the Press”:

“At this point in time, I think that would be a mistake. I don’t believe we should tie our hands or the hands of the new Iraqi government. Now obviously, as this government is stood up and takes responsibility, there may come a time when it decides for its own internal reasons that we should set such a deadline and withdrawal agenda. But right now I think it would be a mistake.”

RNC TV the prequel

Wednesday, November 16th, 2005

Michelle Malkin has an interesting beef with the RNC defense PR that led up to the release of the “Democrats: Dishonest on Iraq” video. It’s worth a read. She has some valid points.

Must See Web TV!

Wednesday, November 16th, 2005

Everyone must, MUST, go over to GOP.com and play the video “Democrats: Dishonest on Iraq”. It’s all there for you to see. Sens. Edwards, Bye, & Rockefeller, President Clinton, Madeline Albright, Howard Dean, and oh yeah we almost forgot; our good friend Senator Hillary Clinton. ALL of them, talking about the danger of Saddam Hussein and his WMD programs. Not just text for you to read, but video for you to watch and listen to. We love this quote from Hillary:

I can support the President. I can support an action against Saddam Hussein.

Go ahead and play the video “Democrats: Dishonest on Iraq” and then listen to the hypocricy of the Dems in a new light.
