Will the truth about Hillary’s White House activities ever get out?

Wednesday, July 18th, 2007

Judicial Watch has filed a lawsuit against The Clinton Library trying to obtain access to Hillary Clinton’s daily schedules from her White House days. Why is this news worthy? Because the Clintonistas have been less than forthcoming with the release of her actual activity while Bubba was in the Oval Office. We all know what he was doing, but what was she really up to?

udicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption announced today that it filed a lawsuit on July 16, 2007 in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia against the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration to obtain access to the following records from the Clinton Presidential Library: “First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton’s calendar, to include but not limited to her daily office diary, schedule, day planner, telephone log book, and chronological file.” The Archives, which operates and maintains Clinton Presidential Library records, failed to respond to Judicial Watch’s April 5, 2006 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

Hillary Clinton votes no on interstate abortion bill

Tuesday, July 25th, 2006

Don’t let the middle of the road Hillary fool you. She is still, at her core, a far Left Liberal. Evidence? Why, yes indeed. Just look at the vote in the US Senate to ban transporting a minor across state lines for an abortion without her parent’s consent:

- On Passage of the Bill (S. 403, As Amended )
- A bill to amend title 18, United States Code, to prohibit taking minors across State lines in circumvention of laws requiring the involvement of parents in abortion decisions.
- Clinton (D-NY), Nay

Next time Hillary Clinton tries to convince some one that she is anyway in favor of life, We think she should be reminded about this vote. At least she’ll be able to keep her 100% rating by NARAL indicating her pro-choice voting record.

The Senate voted yesterday to make it a crime to take a pregnant girl across state lines to obtain an abortion without her parents’ knowledge, handing a long-sought victory to the Bush administration and abortion opponents.

The bill would help about three dozen states enforce laws that require minors to notify or obtain the consent of their parents before having an abortion. It would bar people — including clergy members and grandparents — from helping a girl travel to another state to avoid parental-involvement laws. Violations could result in a year in prison.

Most states have passed such laws, but courts have invalidated at least nine of them, advocacy groups say. Maryland and Virginia have parental-notification laws; the District does not. The Senate voted 65 to 34 to approve the bill, which is similar to one the House has approved before, including last year.

Hillary and the abortion issue.

Tuesday, February 28th, 2006

There is an excellent piece by Bruce Wilson about Hillary Clinton and her stance on abortion over at Renew America. He makes some valid points.

During President Clinton’s political career it was obvious he was using a different dictionary than the rest of America. You might recall two of the most memorable entries in the Clinton Dictionary:

sex-ual rela-tions, n. 1. as in “I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky…”

is, v. 1. as in “it depends on what the meaning of the word is, is….”

Recent events lead me to believe that Bill isn’t the only one studying the pages of the Clinton Dictionary. I think it has become a family heirloom.

Sen. Hillary Clinton has been widely quoted in the past few months stating that abortion should be “safe, legal and rare.” Most political observers believe that Hillary has shrewdly modified her pro-abortion record, reaching out to red voters as she prepares for a run at the presidency in 2008. Well, there is no doubt she is shrewd and is attempting to reach out to red voters. But red voters should be wary of accepting the extended hand. They are sure to find that sleight-of-hand is what Hillary really offers them.
