We smell a rat in Hillary land

Monday, November 20th, 2006

Somebody definitely needs to “follow the money” in regards to Hillary’s 2006 NY Senate re-election campaign. How on earth could she have actually spent nearly $30 million on a campaign that was never even close? Something stinks here, and it ain’t the East River!

For the $30 million or more she spent on her re-election campaign, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton scored a 36-point victory over an obscure opponent, built a new set of contributors and began assembling the nuts and bolts she would need to run a presidential campaign, the NY TIMES is planning to report on Tuesday.

She also purchased more than $13,000 worth of flowers and funneled tens of thousands of dollars a month to consultants and aides.

The result was to deplete what had been a formidable war chests in politics down to a level that leaves her with little financial advantage over her potential rivals for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination — and perhaps even trailing some of them.

Is Hillary preparing for an even larger spending spree?

Tuesday, November 7th, 2006

With the way Hillary and her campaign threw around money during her never in doubt NY Senate re-election campaign, one can only expect a cash tsunami when the “real” election cycle begins. The ‘08 presidential election looks to be a cash cow for anybody and everybody who wants to get their palms greased. And remember, cash = votes!

To secure her Democratic re-election bid in New York, Mrs. Clinton spent $29.5 million through the middle of October, according to the Federal Election Commission, suggesting that she may have her sights on a future national campaign…

Mrs. Clinton, whose campaign reported sending a $6,585 check to Flutterbyes for flowers in Las Vegas, $5,397.50 to Le Petit Gourmet Catering in Glendale, Colo., and $80,000 to Tavern on the Green in Manhattan….

“It may be that Clinton is spending so heavily in New York to try to accomplish the kind of landslide that President Bush enjoyed in 1998,” said Mr. Toner, referring to the Texas governor’s race eight years ago. “The president’s 1998 race unquestionably helped lay the groundwork for a successful presidential campaign in 2000. History may be repeating itself.”

Spencer bashes “hideous” Hillary Clinton.

Monday, October 23rd, 2006

Whaaaaaa…..? Hold on a moment. That’s some serious mud there Mr. Spencer. Funny mud, true, but it’s pretty dirty. It did make us laugh though.

“You ever see a picture of her back then? Whew,” said John Spencer of Clinton’s younger days.

“I don’t know why Bill married her,” he said of the Clintons, who celebrated their 31st anniversary this month.

Noting Hillary Clinton looks much different now, he chalked it up to “millions of dollars” of “work” - plastic surgery.

“She looks good now,” he said.

We’re not sure this is going to close the 40 or so point gap that John Spencer trails by, but it does make for some interesting speculation. Did Hillary have plastic surgery? If so, when? Did she have facial reconstruction while she was First Lady? If she did, then why didn’t the media report on it? All of these are just questions right now. We have have no answers. Hopefully, somebody in the media will look into it.

Um Hillary, what are you going to do with all that money?

Saturday, October 14th, 2006

Let’s see, there’s about 3 weeks till the election, she has about a 30 point lead in the polls, and oh yeah, she has $15.8 million laying around. Hookers and beer for Bubba? Nope, we didn’t think so either. Oh, and by the way, she’s not running for President.

Sen. Hillary Clinton isn’t exactly cash-starved as she heads into the closing days of her race against her GOP rival, former Yonkers Mayor John Spencer.
New York’s junior senator had about $15.8 million on hand at the end of September, according to campaign finance filings released yesterday, and early this month she donated more than $1 million to other Democratic campaign groups.

Say YES to John Spencer!

Friday, September 22nd, 2006

Since the title of this blog is “Just Say No To Hillary Clinton”, we feel it is only appropriate to endorse John Spencer for U.S. Senate. Hillary Clinton just assumes that she can walk into the White House via the U.S. Senate seat from New York. But not if YOU do not want her to. John Spencer is the former mayor of Yonkers, NY, a veteran of The U.S. Army, and a principled Conservative leader. He will be a FULL TIME Senator, not a part time resident who’s running a full time Presidential campaign. We believe that the people of New York deserve a full time Senator. Everybody knows that Hillary Clinton only cares about New York if it helps her true political ambitions. Support John Spencer, and help derail the Hillary Clinton political machine!

Why is Hillary afraid to debate John Spencer?

Friday, September 22nd, 2006

It’s come to our attention that Hillary Clinton has refused to debate John Spencer in prime time and on network television. Why? What is she hiding? It seems that her people think 2 debates (one on local cable NY1 in NYC, and another at 9 a.m. on a Sunday) are sufficient. we don’t. For a U.S. Senate seat as powerful as the one from New York, there should definitely be a debate in prime time on network television. Then maybe Hillary might finally have to answer the question about running for President instead of serving her constituents. Who are we kidding? We’ll bet you a nickel to a dollar she avoids answering the question.

Surprise, surprise, surprise; Hillary wins her primary.

Tuesday, September 12th, 2006

We hope Tasini’s people didn’t place any actual bets on an upset. And it looks like nobody in New York really cared anyway. Analysts say that less than 12% of registered Democrats voted. Less than 12%? Pathetic doesn’t even begin to describe that turnout. If we had a vomiting smiley, we’d insert it here!

U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton overwhelmed her opponent in the New York Democratic primary Tuesday.

With 95 percent of the vote in, the former first lady was leading challenger Jonathan Tasini, 83.2 percent to 16.8 percent, The New York Times said.

What does Hillary Clinton need $44.9 million for?

Sunday, September 10th, 2006

She says it’s for the NY Senate campaign. Yeah right. And I bet she has another bridge she wants to sell. She has NO competition for her Senate seat. None. She will win along party lines with probably 60% of the vote. So where is the money really going to go? For her Presidential run that she’s not talking about making, even though everybody knows she’s going to? Where do you think?

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York is the most prolific fundraiser in Congress, far outpacing other lawmakers by collecting $44.9 million over the past six years for her campaign to win a second Senate term, new government reports show.
This is twice the amount raised by the No. 2 fundraiser, Sen. Charles E. Schumer, the other New York Democrat from New York and no slouch in that department.

Does anyone think Hillary is NOT going to run for President?

Friday, September 1st, 2006

While touring the site for the new Women’s Hall of Fame in Seneca Falls, the Democratic senator told Nightline’s Cynthia McFadden she hopes the country is ready for a female President. “It just depends on, you know, when and if that happens. Stay tuned.”

Through five events in four cities, Clinton refused to answer reporters’ questions about her presidential ambitions, insisting that the only election she’s thought about is this one.

Please, if you do, let us know. We can’t believe that there are still people in New York who believe that she will serve a full term. Either they are naive enough to believe that, or they think she can’t win. But if you think she can win, then why elect a 2 year Senator who will devote NO time to the state? Everybody saw what happened to John Kerry and Massachusetts. He did NOTHING for the state from the moment he declared his candidacy. So we ask a question based on this premise: If you think she will win the Presidency, then obviously you know she is lying right now about serving the people of New York State. So why elect a liar to Senator in the first place?
