Hillary Clinton votes AGAINST condemning Move On ad!

Thursday, September 20th, 2007

Don’t believe that she’d be stupid enough to go on record with this? Then Click Here to see the proof. At least Obama and Biden were “smart enough” to chicken out and not vote. Good God people, do you realize that by voting against this condemnation Hillary Clinton has slapped the entire military in the face? How can she expect to be Commander in Chief if she bows to pressure from a political organization that uses intimidation and name calling as their chief weapons?

Hillary must already think she’s the Commander in Chief

Why else would she make a statement like this to General Petraeus?

“Despite what I view is your rather extraordinary efforts in your testimony both yesterday and today,” said Clinton, “I think that the reports that you provide to us really require a willing suspension of disbelief.”

How much hubris must one have to challenge a General of Petraeus’ standing and knowledge? It’s blatantly obvious that Hill has become a participant in MoveOn’s blackmail scheme. Why else would she refrain from supporting Senator Cornyn’s resolution condemning MoveOn’s slanderous ad in the New York Slimes? She and the rest of the Democan’ts refused to support the measure, and it failed to come up for a binding vote. If it had, then there would have been more of a record of this shameless act by Hillary and her thieving pals. (Just because we haven’t mentioned the whole Hsu affair, does not mean we are not aware of it ;) )

Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, introduced a Senate resolution Tuesday condemning MoveOn.org’s recent attack on Gen. David Petraeus in a New York Times advertisement. The move comes the same day the top U.S. general in Iraq is set to testify before key Senate committees.

The measure was offered as a nonbinding amendment to the transportation appropriations bill currently on the floor, and but was ruled “not germane” and will not be put to a vote.

Bravo to Rudy Giuliani for slamming her in on the radio,

“Hillary Clinton, questioning Gen. (David) Petraeus, said you had to suspend disbelief,” Giuliani said after a brief campaign stop at an Akron restaurant. “Why would you say that about an American general?”

He made his point, but we think he should have gone further. Let’s hope he’s saving it for their first debate…

Hillary’s foreign policy flip flop

Tuesday, July 24th, 2007

Seems Ms Hillary had a foreign policy brain fart in last night’s debate. Will you talk (re: negotiate) with dictators and terrorists, or not? Ummm, we’re just wondering Hillary, which one is it?

“I would begin diplomatic discussions with those countries with whom we have differences, to try to figure out what is the depth of those differences,” said Clinton, who spoke to about 1,000 people at Luther College in Decorah in northeastern Iowa.

“I think it is a terrible mistake for our president to say he will not talk with bad people. You don’t make peace with your friends — you have to do the hard work of dealing with people you don’t agree with,” said Clinton… Full Story

Or is this your new position?

“Certainly, we’re not going to just have our president meet with Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez and you know, the president of North Korea, Iran and Syria, until we know better what the way forward would be,” she said. Full Story

Will the truth about Hillary’s White House activities ever get out?

Wednesday, July 18th, 2007

Judicial Watch has filed a lawsuit against The Clinton Library trying to obtain access to Hillary Clinton’s daily schedules from her White House days. Why is this news worthy? Because the Clintonistas have been less than forthcoming with the release of her actual activity while Bubba was in the Oval Office. We all know what he was doing, but what was she really up to?

udicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption announced today that it filed a lawsuit on July 16, 2007 in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia against the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration to obtain access to the following records from the Clinton Presidential Library: “First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton’s calendar, to include but not limited to her daily office diary, schedule, day planner, telephone log book, and chronological file.” The Archives, which operates and maintains Clinton Presidential Library records, failed to respond to Judicial Watch’s April 5, 2006 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

How Clintonistas stay on message

Saturday, February 24th, 2007

It seems that the best way to handle Bubba and his philandering ways is to sidestep that whole “blowjob in the oval office” thing. Why talk about Hillary and her involvement in Whitewater? Nix on that. Stay on message.

“Will President Clinton be a drag on the campaign?”
“Of course not,” is the prescribed answer. “Americans give President Clinton very high ratings and he is one of the most respected and beloved leaders in the world.” The response is followed by highlights of the ex-president’s term in office.
Another question asks, “How do you combat Clinton fatigue, or those who say they don’t want the drama of the Clintons again?”
Answer: “A lot of Americans will gladly take the eight great years of economic prosperity and peace that the Clinton Administration delivered . . . We can do this again with experienced leaders like Hillary at the helm.”
And still another asks, “Isn’t she too polarizing to win?
Answer: “Obviously not, since she’s already winning! If you look at the polls from the past weekend, she’s ahead in both the primary and the general election races.”

These are just some of the scripted answers The New York Post has uncovered from the Clinton campaign. So make a list, and the next time you see a Clintonista talking head on TV, see how how close to the script they stay. Maybe you could make a drinking game out of it. Say everytime one of them says “experience”, “leadership”, or “know how”, you take a drink. Bottoms Up!

Hillary Clinton as the new Thatcher?

Saturday, January 20th, 2007

We think not. Are they serious? Here’s the skinny. A report in London’s Times Online quotes Terry McAuliffe (Hillary’s campaign chair) saying that Hillary’s campaign will compare her to Margaret Thatcher. Again we say: “Are they serious?” Here’s a quote from Margaret Thatcher -

We want a society where people are free to make choices, to make mistakes, to be generous and compassionate. This is what we mean by a moral society; not a society where the state is responsible for everything, and no one is responsible for the state.

Now, you tell us, does that sound anything like the Hillary Clinton we all know? Of course it doesn’t. McAuliffe even said so in his statement -

Their policies are totally different but they are both perceived as very tough. She is strong on foreign policy. People have got to know you are going to keep them safe.

Note the first line of his statement, “their policies are totally different”. Clinton’s campaign is only using the Thatcher comparison to make us think of Hillary as a strong leader. That’s it. Period. So where is this campaign going? We’re not sure. One moment they are trying to cast Hillary as a moderate, the next they are casting her as our Mother; and now they are trying to make us see her as a strong world leader. Hogwash, hooey, and horse-hockey! (Yeah we know they’re silly words, but we get tired of cursing sometimes :) )
Let’s jump back to a point overlooked by many people. Terry McAuliffe is her campaign chair. This is the same guy who was vilified by the Democratic party after the defeat of Kerry in ‘04. With idiotic statements like the one he just made, we can’t help but wonder how long he will be at the helm of the Clinton campaign.

Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy test balloon

Wednesday, November 1st, 2006

Now that she knows her re-election is safe in hand, Hillary Clinton and her people have decided to send up a foreign policy test balloon. Oh yeah, it just happens to come one week before the most talked about, most over hyped Congressional election ever. So if it it pops, nobody will hear about it. And what pearls of foreign policy wisdom has she spouted? Let’s see:

First, and most obviously, we must by word and deed renew internationalism for a new century

In other words “We must suck up to Europe.”

Direct negotiations are not a sign of weakness; they’re a sign of leadership

In other words, “I have no real ideas, let’s try a focus group”

Referring to the Bush administration’s refusal to talk directly to North Korea she said: “Six years of policy with no carrots no sticks and only bad results.”
source

In other words, “Forget that this didn’t work for my husband. Pay no attention to the fact that the North Koreans were pursuing nuclear weapons while lying to our faces the whole time they pretended to cooperate.”
Yep, there you have it. We knew biologically that Hillary had no balls, but now she is proving it ideologically as well.

Hillary furious at plantation outsourcing!!!

Thursday, January 19th, 2006

Oh baby is Hillary on a roll this week. First she is comparing the House of Representatives to a plantation, and now she’s complaining about the White House outsourcing the Iranian negotiations.

In an address Wednesday evening at Princeton University, Clinton, D-N.Y., said it was a mistake for the United States to have Britain, France and Germany head up nuclear talks with Iran over the past 2 1/2 years. Last week, Iran resumed nuclear research in a move Tehran claims is for energy, not weapons.

“I believe that we lost critical time in dealing with Iran because the White House chose to downplay the threats and chose to outsource the negotiations,” Clinton said.

Isn’t this the same woman who’s been complaining that we haven’t been multilateral enough in our foreign policy? Take a look at this speech from 2003 in front of the Council on Foreign Relations:

It is smart to have more people involved. It is smart to move toward multilateralism and anyway from unilateralism. It is smart to look at how we can get more people to have an ownership and participation interest in what we do…

The consequences of unilateralism, isolationism and overtly expressed preemptive defense, I think, are severe. We will end up with fewer nations, fewer intelligence services and fewer law enforcement personnel internationally helping to protect us against attacks, fewer nations helping to counterattack when we are struck, and less leverage in advancing democracy, freedom, open markets and other values that we believe elevate the people of the world even as they protect our people here at home.
